Bracelet options for Geneve Ref: 1135.041

Hey everyone,

I'm a total newbie to the forums as well as vintage Omegas. I recently purchased a Geneve reference 135.041. It came with a very very basic canvas strap and as I consider updating, I was curious if anyone might know of a steel bracelet option for this model? I've seen several pictures of this model or similar with interesting steel bands, milanese, presidential-esque, jubilee-esque, all seeming to be genuine bracelets.

I found a similar thread on the matter:
https://omegaforums.net/threads/steel-bracelet-suggestion-for-vintage-omega-geneve-135-041.123809/

to which it was suggested to locate a "fix o flex" style of bracelet. Is this all that is compatible with this model or are there other styles to be considered/searchable? I am for one, not the biggest fan of stretchable bracelets as I've been gifted with plenty of arm hair 😀.

If anyone might make a recommendation for old stock bracelets that might be compatible - I'd surely appreciate a few pointers. Links to actual posts or listings would be even more so appreciated (or if you might have one to sell).

Thanks!

One thing I’ve done is searched the sales forums for the particular ref. Many times you’ll find sales of “watch with original bracelet” which then gets me down the right path.

Any of the following:

1118/582
1122/558 (this is the Fixoflex)
1156/589
1168/637

I'd suggest emailing Omega customer service to see if any of these are still stocked before killing yourself looking for used.

The 1118/582 Is probably the best bet of those options on these cases, the endlinks fits quite well and the bracelet is comfortable and durable, I think I still have one in the vault on an 1118. The fixoflex is a bit of a love it or hate it option as I find them to be very hair-pinchy on my shrek wrists and don’t like how the ends sit at the lugs or the lightness while the 1118 isn’t heavy but has enough weight to well balance the head and feel really nice on the wrist.
