Don’t discount a slightly later bracelet. Bracelets are generally dated a year or so after the date in the case back

Go to Want to Buy thread. Rules are at top. Basically you cannot post a Want to Buy until you have 200 posts. But you can follow the watch accessories or Provate Sales threads and contact seller by DM and buy something.
You haven’t broken any rule yet no worry. Asking for info or tips is fine.
Hope you find your bracelet!

1506 with #16 end links. Things to watch for are your bank account as those can get pretty pricy...

Given these bracelets are so rare, any suggested alternatives? Ideally already worn / vintage to match the watch!
Cheers

You could look at an 1171/633. They came out around 71 so are a few years later than your watch but they fit well and we’re an option on the last sm300’s as far as I know.
Also, if you ask Omega for a replacement bracelet for a 166.024 that’s what they’ll supply

I don’t have a pic handy, but my 165.024 is on a 1171/633. Looks good, wears well, and cost a fraction of what a 1039 was going for.

For the -66 at least, I think you could get away with a 1039 with 516 end links with a 4/66 or a 1967 date code. Not really cheaper but easier to find and probably your best alternative to the preferred 1506/16

You could use a 1039/516 with any date code of course, just depends on how period-correct you want it to be.

Others bracelets fit but it belongs on a vintage flatlink IMO. In a pinch, an Uncle Seiko 1035 style flatlink (brushed) will fill the void.

That’s really helpful. Many thanks
