Which bracelet would you recommend for a 2998-4 Speedmaster? The current one is not original Omega nor does it fir my wrist so I'd like to get the original model.
Thanks in advance.

I believe you're looking for a 7912 bracelet with no. 6 endlinks. Be forewarned; it may be rough on your wallet.

Thanks Caliber561, that is one I have been looking at and yes, looking a tad rough on wallet. Especially the no.6 end links. Is 7077/6 an option as well or was that earlier editions?

Do you have an extract for your watch and if so when was it delivered? That should help to identify the bracelet you will need.

Both 7077 and 7912 can be correct for -4. Also exists is a transitional 7077 with short clasp but with single spring links.

7077 1-61 works for me.

It depends on the year of the production (from Omega extract). From 1960 should be 7912/6 , with date on clasp matching the production year. In year 1959 an overlap 7077/7912 (data from the O&P tables, produced by a group of participants),

You have the option to split the cost, buying the bracelet and aftermarket 19mm endlinks first, and original n.6 endlinks later when you can afford them.

This is mine. It is a 2998-4, hence still radium, extract 27/09/1961. Now on a beautiful 7912/6, marked 3/61.
