Can anyone tell me what my 1969 transitional Speedie would have come with originally. I have it on leather and am waiting on an extract from Omega archive to clarify if it had a bracelet from new. Which box papers and other bits would it have had? I would love to put a full set together.
1035 would be my guess. Why did you call it transitional rather than just plain 1969? Does it have a transitional back?
The extract most likely won't specify which bracelet it came on. I would say it probably left the factory with a 1039. You will pay a pretty penny for the correct box if you can find one.
DON but no applied logo = transitional unless I am totally misunderstanding things - which is not unusual. Flat back too? Guidance as ever appreciated!
Was just wondering if there was something else than in the picture. There are 3 main variants on the 145.022-69, but yours appears to be the most common one, regardless of which bezel comes with it. You can have more info here: http://www.speedmaster101.com/145-022-69/.
I have a similar '69 that I purchased recently and it came with a 1506 bracelet and a 16 endlink. I don't know if it is original to the watch as one endlink is wrong, but it may be.
