Bracelet advice please

Hello, I'm new to the forum. The bracelet for my 1987 Omega Seamaster has broken and I'm advised it can't be repaired. The serial number is 1412/786. I'd like something as near to this as possible, but so far I can't find anything. I understand the numbers "786" refer to the design of ends where it attaches the watch. Will anything else be compatible? This is an 18mm bracelet BTW.

I don't have the watch in front of me now...it's with a repairer. He tells me that the bracelet ref is 1412/786. There seems to be so many reference numbers for the end lugs. Surely my watch will not fit only 786. How does this work?

What exactly is wrong with the bracelet? Perhaps you can post some photos showing the damage. It might be repairable by the right person.

Otherwise, take your watch to an Omega authorized dealer or boutique and ask them to order the correct replacement bracelet.
