Bought the 1580/952 bracelet for the cal 2500 Planet Ocean

I've had the cal 2500 Planet Ocean for two years and only now bought the bracelet. Initially when I decided to get the Planet Ocean, I tried on the bracelet and decided that the rigidity and the heft were not for me (original review here, now updated). It didn't help that the PO that I tried had the microadjustment mod, which in retrospective makes the bracelet worse for me. Since then I've worn it on rubber and mesh mostly.

Well guess what? In two years my tastes have evolved. The bracelet fits perfectly with the half-link and accounts for the swelling of the hand during the day. I'm now also able to live with the rigid overhanging end link, which I hated with both 2254.50 and the Speedmaster bracelet. The lack of taper doesn't bother me as bad as it did with Speedmaster either. Maybe the caseback curvature and case profile are better with this combination for my wrist?

Who else here likes the old PO bracelet with the original clasp? Did also Omega really lower the price on these bracelets? I remember them being a bit more expensive. I am sort of surprised that I went through with all of this after hating on the early 00s Omega bracelets for so long.

The original PO (and SMP) clasp is an engineering design marvel. Completely streamlined and integrated to the bracelet and still packing the diver's extension hidden inside.

Yes, it lacks any kind of micro adjustment, but if you are like me and wear the watch rather loose, by the use of full and half links you will find a proper fit with room for wrist swelling.

If anything, the original clasp looks a bit dated. I have found a good middle ground by using the 1589 clasp on mine.

I tried the tool-less micro adjust clasp too, but it really is too bulky, thicker and wider than the bracelet. And since I don't really use or need the functionality, did not work for me either. IMO, it kinda overpowers an otherwise elegant and classic watch.

Just taken delivery of a PO today and finding 1 link is either a touch tighter than I like or a tad looser.
There doesn't appear to be a half link in the configuration. I'm sure it would hit that sweet spot.
Whereabouts can I find these magical links of which thou speak ? ( please)

Well, so much for that. Claims to be half link, strangely same size as rest of links on bracelet..... So, either a bracelet of half links or.... ?
Feel like I'm missing something...

A-ha! Just had a call from the supplier - didn't know they could do that on ebay - apologising profusely, acknowledging liability and sorting out, bless him.
One day soon I'll be wearing a really comfortable PO ....

Result!! Supplier resolved with no hassle. Half link arrived, fitted - I now have a perfectly fitting PO bracelet and it's awesome . Just waiting for the correct size deployment clasp to turn up to use the rubber band - oh, the fun of anticipation with this watch
