·I've had the cal 2500 Planet Ocean for two years and only now bought the bracelet. Initially when I decided to get the Planet Ocean, I tried on the bracelet and decided that the rigidity and the heft were not for me (original review here, now updated). It didn't help that the PO that I tried had the microadjustment mod, which in retrospective makes the bracelet worse for me. Since then I've worn it on rubber and mesh mostly.
Well guess what? In two years my tastes have evolved. The bracelet fits perfectly with the half-link and accounts for the swelling of the hand during the day. I'm now also able to live with the rigid overhanging end link, which I hated with both 2254.50 and the Speedmaster bracelet. The lack of taper doesn't bother me as bad as it did with Speedmaster either. Maybe the caseback curvature and case profile are better with this combination for my wrist?
Who else here likes the old PO bracelet with the original clasp? Did also Omega really lower the price on these bracelets? I remember them being a bit more expensive. I am sort of surprised that I went through with all of this after hating on the early 00s Omega bracelets for so long.
