Bought a Speedmaster at last. Do you approve of this 145.022-69?

After having been ticked off by @gemini4 for choosing poorly I picked up this one as my first Speedmaster and would like to hear your opinion:
Serial 30'591'xxx
The dial is NOT turning chocolate and there seems to be some chronocreep.

To my untrained eyes the edges look quite nice,
To my untrained eyes it looks as though it has
A C1 dial is a C1 (tritium turning black), Bezel B1 (quite nice too I think), Hands C2 (Tritium turning very black), Back A4

with the unfortunate marks of a brute trying to open it and failing, but the engraving still quite fresh,
crown A2 and pushers 5.00 x 3.5 mm (the upper one has a slight ding)

A hesalite with I don't know which of the different logos

and the remnants of a 1039/516 bracelet for which I'll have to find parts or replacement. I don't know what its going to be yet

The movement and dust cover (pics by the seller as I haven't the tools to open the case.

So, gentlemen. Did I choose better this time? Is there anything I missed?
Can I leave the house wearing this watch without making a fool of myself? (And I'm only talking about the watch, not about the bracelet the seller added 😉 )
Thank you for your feedback.

Looks ok. The bezel is good and will clean up nicely as there's some gunk on it. Hopefully it's going for a service soon?

The dial is ok but the lume isn't an attractive shade and it looks to be degrading.

Case looks very good.

how much you paid
Looking at the Speedmaster101 chart the total paid was in the lower half of the spread between running and good for a -69

You Choose Well!!

I think you did fine. Congrats. Very honest Speedie.
Funny thing about the lume. 4 years ago, only 2998s and 2915s were desirable with “unattractive” lume. Later on the 105.003s Ed Whites without pristine lume were sought after as well. Two years from now, most will not notice this 69’s green lume except to comment that it, and the watch as a whole, looks original.

Enjoy.

It looks a nice natural piece that's been previously enjoyed. Now it's your turn.

I can't approve unless I know how much you paid for it 😗
And we all know how important my approval is 😁

Yeah, well, what shall I say? Some things must remain unsaid, so I'll stick to what I wrote earlier
the lower half of the spread between running and good for a -69

I like it, congratulations. Matching the colour of the strap with the lume makes the lume stand out - how does it look with a black strap?

Beautiful piece congrats, it's also one that could be worn without the worrying you'd damage a pristine watch. I like it it has character enjoy

Terrible purchase. Send it my way and I’ll “dispose” of it properly 😁 A fine piece with character, history, and now you’re history with it begins!
