Hello forum, I did something that I knew I shouldn’t. I bought a vintage Omega at a pawn shop without knowing anything about the reference or even if the watch was authentic. Impulse buys are usually accompanied by regret, but I think I got lucky. It is my first vintage watch and I’m very happy. Based on the research I did after I bought it I think all but the crystal and crown are oem parts appropriate to this particular reference. What do you all say?
Other than the case being slightly polished and the issues with the crown and crystal I think you lucked out and got a very attractive, original watch, providing you didn't massively overpay. The linen dial is very nice. Enjoy the watch! Cheers.
Thanks. I don't think I got some amazing deal. But at $700, I think it was a fair price. As I said, I'm very happy with it and can't stop wearing it.
