    Hello forum,

I did something that I knew I shouldn’t. I bought a vintage Omega at a pawn shop without knowing anything about the reference or even if the watch was authentic. Impulse buys are usually accompanied by regret, but I think I got lucky.

It is my first vintage watch and I’m very happy. Based on the research I did after I bought it I think all but the crystal and crown are oem parts appropriate to this particular reference. 740D83F4-A96B-4538-8937-5E2F2BE27552.jpeg D510FD4B-D5C6-4566-AB63-7D9C2C820D86.jpeg 01474179-C181-423D-87DE-989829D3B785.jpeg

    What do you all say?

Other than the case being slightly polished and the issues with the crown and crystal I think you lucked out and got a very attractive, original watch, providing you didn't massively overpay. The linen dial is very nice. Enjoy the watch! Cheers.

Thanks. I don't think I got some amazing deal. But at $700, I think it was a fair price. As I said, I'm very happy with it and can't stop wearing it.
