Boomerang new 3861 owner!

Greetings!

Question if you are willing to help me and thanks for listening.

I want to use the chronograph to time my sleep on a daily basis or long drives along with other shorter interval events.

I read the user manual and read every thing I could find here on this forum… was wondering if that will harm the watch. I’m assuming no or it may just mean that I need a service around year 3 vs year 4-5 or it doesn’t matter, stop fretting and use it as it was designed to be used.

I really love this watch and want to use it for the tool watch that I believe it to be.

Backstory if you are interested in reading… had a Speedmaster 3861 sapphire... loved it… can only be a one watch person… became a diver and got a diving watch for use underwater… sustained an inner ear injury and 5 doctors told me to find another hobby… am the happy owner (again) of a new Speedmaster 3861 sapphire on the leather strap.

Thank you for the reply and for validation of what I thought.

I try very hard in life to not have multiples of anything. I drive myself bananas but am a minimalist at heart and in practice. I’ll find what works best for me and sell, return or donate to not have clutter or more than one of something. Same applies to watches. I’ve managed to enjoy the one watch journey so far but am ohhhhh so tempted to get more!
