After seeing a bonklips on my watch' competitor the Rolex Speedking I have lusted after other ww2 style straps for more hybrid dress/casual styles. Here is my lovely watch and some of the styles I have chosen. First is my Wyler at the Maginot Line in France the lugs are 16mm. Regards-Orion

    either canvas or bonklip.

the rest of them don't suit and the NATO is just wrong.

Perlon maybe given it's age appropriate however they do soak up the sweat and you'll have issues if the case is only plated rather than SS.

If I was you, I'd find a vintage pigskin strap. I have one or two of them and they really invoke that period feel. Quite cheap, too.

Oh, the ones I was thinking about - in this case - is the real deal. There is always some for sale on eBay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/WRIST-WATC...808882?hash=item4d66f4eb72:g:PukAAOSwYlJW4ZJPPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

These are a bit like the ones I mean; they ought to have an ordinary buckle instead of that contraption. Have a search for "NOS pigskin strap" and there should be some. 16mm are rather common, too.
