I think that will head over to the new Seamaster 300 Diver 300 M. That's the watch Daniel started with and finally ends up with. Makes sense?!

I was thinking the other day that there isn’t a single model in the Omega catalog that is a film worn bond watch. For a long time they had the Seamaster 300 then the different planet ocean models and the aqua Terra’s but at the moment nothing that has been in an actual film. They should bring it back around to the Seamaster 300 a non LE version and just sell the hell out of it as the James Bond watch.

The guys at my local OB think it will be a 300, because it’s the 300’s 25 anniversary too.

I’ll be pretty shocked if it’s anything other than the newly released SMPc. I’m sure an AT will make its way in but the SMPc will be the main watch.

Question is will it bee 7007 pieces again? Or maybe only 2500 for 25 years? Or 5000 for Bond 50th?

My guess is they'll head back to the new-model blue Diver, for nostalgia's sake. Supposedly Daniel Craig himself suggested that he wear a standard Seamaster 300 in Spectre, only to be overruled by the film's director, Sam Mendes, who wanted the watch to have some distinctive features that necessitated the creation of what became the Spectre limited edition version. Of course, there are now over a dozen different iterations of the new Diver, so we'll have to see what ends up on his wrist - and whether it has a laser, or explodes, or whatever.

Hopefully we won’t see the same disaster like Spectre wearing a sports watch on a NATO with a tuxedo.

Would it be crazy if they did a Bond Speedmaster? I haven't watched one in a long time, so I'm not sure if he ever wore a speedy...

    Am I crazy?

AFAIK Bond has yet to wear a Speedy. As a Naval officer the Seamaster fits his back story the best, though his love of fast cars might be able to tie into a Speedmaster. But it would probably get destroyed like his cars!

Unless it’s a speedy that shoots laser beams and transforms into a jet pack.

I'm hoping its a Planet Ocean or even the SMPc - but I suspect it will be the Seamaster 300. I'm keen to see how it plays out.

I agree. Didn't they tie-in the release of most of the modern Seamaster line with the Bond movies going all the way back to Goldeneye? The new diver seems like the perfect fit in regards to timing.
