Bleaching a new speedmaster bezel

What I found when I bleached the bezel is the edges of the insert bleached a bit more than the rest, you dont see it in real life but it can be seen in the picture.



Compared to naturally faded DON bezels


And this one shows a standard non faded bezel against earlier model faded ones

For some reason this thread reminds me of the two ladies I overheard talking in a bar the other evening.

One said "I'm going to have my asshole bleached."

@RazorFrazer Could you please tell me how did you do that?

Bought some bleach. Dipped the bezel in it and slowly massaged it face down in a paper bowl of bleach .... when it got the color i wanted i took it out and rinsed it well.

I believe he's referring to the Seiko bezel that he showed in the initial post.
