If you bought it from the Swatch store, then everything is ok. If you bought it used or online, beware. I see the fakes bringing $80.
Merely curious: where are you seeing prices like that on the secondary market? I suppose it's possible every single one sold on ebay for the last while is fake, but most are full-set and look awfully legit, and the average sold price is less than retail (there are also 40+ examples on C24 for under $500). I could absolutely be missing something, and this isn't a comment on the quality of the watches themselves, just the idea that they've become pricier on the secondary market, which I'm not finding any data supporting.
I bought a white snoopy moonphase last year, it had what looked like the correct box, papers, everything, and it was fake. Found out when the moonphase did not set. I complained and got most of my money back and kept it. Because you have to have it next to a real one to tell otherwise.
Got to be ebay. People were trying to get 500 or more for the moonphase too. Search blancpain x swatch on ebay and see.

Count me among those who expected a plastic Royal Oak on the wrist. The pocket watch wasn’t on my bingo card. Not really my thing, but at least Swatch and AP took a different path instead of the predictable one. Curious to see how these are viewed a few years from now.
I'm not sure how the topic has moved from the Blancpain collab to the AP one, but I'll roll with it.
For me, the AP pocket watch shows that AP are happy to take the popularity and hype, and therefore spotlight, without hurting the brand too much with an actual "bioceramic" watch... they've only allowed a pocket watch (for now). I don't see the appeal of the pocket watch, personally. I have a Moonwatch (Mission to Mercury) and it's fine, it scratches an itch and is comfortable. The Blancpain collaboration is good, too. But the AP... not for me.
