Blancpain vs JLC Your Opinions Solicited

Interestingly, the last modern watch I have (as I moved entirely to vintage) is my JLC Compressor Geographic. Even when I had my full line-up of moderns, the JLC just seemed more solid, better built... hard to nail down. In a moment of madness, I was tempted by the FX rates and almost sold it for a very good offer. But, my wife stepped in and reminded me how much I truly love that watch. 😀

If they made the current Fifty Fathoms a bit smaller, I would probably own one.

My thoughts exactly, and fortunately they seem to have taken note - they've announced a 38mm version. - there's also this thing of beauty at 38mm if you can find one....

40mm would be ideal but I'm going to try the 38mm on when my local AD gets one.
