Blancpain pressure fitted case back

    Hello dear gents!

    I bring to your attention my Villaret, with a probably simple question: is the gap between the case and the back, visible in the below picture, a feature or a defect from improper opening?

    This was present on my watch since I bought it and I always thought these were present on backs of pressure fitted cases to help opening. So, opinions on rhe gap present on this particular model?

    It looks like the small inside chamfer used to allow the blade of a case opener to enter the seam without risk of gouging.
    Usually found opposite the crown side on snap backs.
