This is my stunning 45mm Blancpain 50 Fathoms complete calendar flyback chronograph, reference 5066f-1140-52b. To me, this is the pinnacle of the FF - blue dial, display caseback with the unique nautilus rotor, complete calendar, moonphase, and flyback chronograph functionality, as well as its incredible sapphire covered lumed bezel. The watch is a very comfortable and masculine 45mm in size, and the blue OEM rubber-backed sailcloth strap makes the watch comfortable under any situation. One highlight to this timepiece is its incredible movement and innovative packaging around the Fifty Fathoms' case. Blancpain's caliber 66BF8, a movement unique to this watch, is showcased here with a flyback chronograph, complete calendar, and moonphase complications. While most triple or complete calendar watches leverage recessed pushers in the case for adjustment, requiring a special pusher tool, this watch uses Blancpain's incredible under-lug corrector system. Built into the underside of the case and perfectly hidden by the lugs are four corrector buttons, allowing easy, tool-free access when needed and vastly cleaning up the appearance of the sides of the case. This is, by far, my favorite calendar adjustment mechanism in the industry. The watch is in approximately 88% condition. It was a regularly worn piece, so desk diving marks do exist and are not rare. They can all be polished out at the next service or by a competent watchmaker, if desired. As is, the watch is ready for daily wear without worry. While photographing the watch, I noticed a speck under the crystal near the 9 o clock subdial counter. It is virtually indistinguishable while wearing the watch but does show under macro photography, and therefore should be disclosed for complete transparency. As pictured, the watch comes with the outer box (one corner of the outer cardboard box has some damage), inner Pelican box without the carrying case, hangtag, and a set of Tribute to Fifty Fathoms cards.
