    Don't know if the 168.001 exists with an original black dial. I would say it is easier to find a whole watch with a nice original black dial (168.005) than an original black dial for the watch in good shape sold on its own. There is also a high likelihood that the watch you want to get a black dial for never left the factory with an original black dial.

    Agree...... Ideally, I would prefer to find a whole original watch but the last while I have seen shinny over polished or redial examples. Maybe, I end up with 2 examples.
