There goes my answer. Seriously, black. In 30 or 40 years the guys that have replaced us will be killing each other to buy it - so keep the box & papers.
I will go for the black one but given a choice , I will go for neither. Don't think they will be as collectible as the 89, 85 or 83. So I give those three higher priority.
I suspect that back in the 50/60s many folks were not weighing the future collectability factor on their decision to buy these watches [89, 85, or 83]. I think they got their watches based on looks and craftsmanship…I think.
I don't care who collects my leavings when I go to my pine watchbox in the ground. White. Just looks better.
I do. I don't want some schmuck owning a watch I've cared for since new. I guess I have to keep a closer eye on my nephews to see who's more likely to have enough interest to be the next steward for my collection.

Funny, it looks like it's just LouS and I who prefer the white. There must be something Zenithy about it.
