Black Omega Seamaster Cosmic

I'm selling a black Seamaster Cosmic from early 1970's reference 136022 with a Cal 613 (manual wind and date). The face is double singed by Turler.

I'll make no effort to hide the fact that I purchased the watch in 2009 on Ebay under the impression that it was running and keeping time. It does run...but stops after less than a minute of movement. If I pull out the crown slightly it continues for about another short period and then stops again. I sent the watch to Omega for a quote and they came back with $750 to service it and another $250 to repair some minor water damage to the face. According to the representative, there is some water damage to the interior that needs repair and the movement is worn. It's a front loader so it is a bit difficult to get a photo of the movement. The case has been polished several times and the insignia on the back is faded (i've tried to detail this in the photos). The buckle is does not look to be original as it doesn't have any markings and is much less warn than the case itself.

For all of its warts, I still think its a handsome watch and am selling it only to raise money to fix up an heirloom piece (read the whole saga below). If I had all the money in the world I'd get it fixed up and wear it as an every day watch.

I'm looking to get $400 for it.

Please contact me with questions about the watch and I will be happy to either answer them or to provide additional photos.
