This one has a nice story to it -it was on the wrist of a carpenter for many years, has his name inscribed on the back case. Hands obviously swapped (with older style?) but my question is regarding the dial. It looks really nice (warning flags), but has a thicker layer of laquer, that the indices and AML are drowning in. Is this the original dial or did someone paint it with clear laquer? Thanks for looking.

I would recommend posting many very focused, high rez pix for us to evaluate a dial especially a black dial.

    In natural light

    Straight on

    No shadows

I’m 68.4% sure that it is original, with the new pix.
