Tag says 167.021 looks unpolished and backcase looks very good.

Shop is asking
865 usd for it.

Watch head only.

Sounds good? Or fairly priced?

I'm not so sure about that - this is a caliber 71x series, which had fonts just as shown on the dial. The lettering looks pretty good when that photo is magnified.

 

I'll try to take better pics later again. Fonts look OK to me but then again the shop is pretty badly lighted.

Black Connies seem to be that bit rarer?

The markers are white. Is that normal? Or should it be tritium filled?

Definitely a fair bit polished - those lugs are supposed to have facets and be brushed.

The markers/hands look awfully white, don't they? Haven't seen black dialed versions of this before...

 

Perhaps tricked by the photo... But looks like it is missing the first minute marker

I am by no means an expert on Connies but I have read a bit on this page:

He claim that almost all black dial Connies are redials, so I would at least demand better photos and really make sure it is ok...

I think there are a lot of imperfections

 

While I am not certain, there seems to be some issues with the text, namely the shape of the "n" in Constellation. At least when I compare them to other of the same reference.
