    Hi,

I'm looking for bezel (gold cup) for my Omega Seamaster. The watch is from 60'. The reference number is 14770 4 SC. Cal. 562.
I can't find it anywhere, but I found a steel bezel for 166.002 omega case and I'm wondering is it suitable for my 14770 omega Seamaster case.
I heard that Omega was changing case numbers to the decimal style around 1962, and the 14770 case is related or perhaps renumbered to 165.0020 and 166.0020 (which are listed as housing the same movement series, 55x/56x, and have the same case size); is there any listing that cross-references case numbers and case parts?
    Can you confirm that?

Or maybe you know where can I find this part? Or how I can replace it?

I will be grateful for your help :)

The only bezel that Omega still sells for the 14770 reference is a pink gold plated version - parts number 082CE14770.

The steel version would be 082ST14770.

There isn't any listing that cross references with newer numbers that I know of. I believe they are different cases, so the only way to know if a bezel will work would be to try one. By the way the 166.002 would be a 166.0002 with the added zero, not 166.0020...
