Stolen pictures? Photos look different to me, both on timber boards but not the same photos.

The wooden block used in the photos on the ebay picture is round. The OF sales thread wooden block is rectangular.
I think it could just be the OF purchaser selling it on tbh

I believe the buyer on OF from @kov was @dscoogs so maybe they could comment

At least I believe I have seen an identical watch shown on WRUW thread

Same watch but pictures from an older sales listing where I decided to withdraw the watch :

https://omegaforums.net/threads/356...40th-anniversary-gemini-iv-le-full-set.96219/

I have no idea if the watch is being sold by the person who bought it from me or not. But for sure nobody contacted me to ask if my pictures can be used for relisting it elsewhere or not. 😒

I think it's just another scammer using stolen pictures for his trap. 👎

It is weird. Seller on ebay is hakan_mp. When I search for sellers name "hakan_mp" and click "Items for sale", I get nothing.

Get used to seeing this Gemini IV LE.
My 2914-4 Flightmaster FAP is “listed” for sale on EBay every couple of months.

This is a good example of why you don't use photos that have the full serial number of the watch exposed. The scamster doesn't have that information; it may not prevent him from ripping someone off but it protects the real owner from recrimination or having his own property flagged as stolen.

I believe that the owner of this watch could report the scammer on ebay. No?

We all should.

You are right, but the owner has any evidence of the real watch that could provide to ebay...

Ebay doesn't require evidence 😉
We believe this account is hijacked so it should be pretty easy for them to find out and close the auction.

Reported. It is my first time ::facepalm1::, I thought ebay would take me to a form for me to input my reason but there was no form.
