Yours is a 7733 (reference 7743) so the markings aren't really comparable, but there are plenty of Vj92 Camaro images out there to compare

Mine is a 7843 with date. Like this one..

I saw a rumor on another forum that Tag is considering reissuing the Camaro. That would be a nice 2018 Basel surprise. Although they can't stay away from the perceived appeal of extra large watches. If they reissue it I wouldn't be surprised if it went from 37mm to 42mm

TAG is very lazy - take a look at the new Jo Siffert limited edition Autavia released this morning - so if they do reissue a watch called "Camaro" it will use whatever current, cheap off-the-shelf parts they have lying around.

I'm not a Heuer expert, but this case is just terrible. The striations around the crystal are rough & ugly. Worst of all, the case is terribly asymmetrical.

This sort of fakery is probably why OMEGA won't sell replacement cases.

I'm considering just finding a generic case of some sort that my 60's Deville movement will fit into till I can get the original case repaired.

It's a fake I'm afraid, and does look to be one of the "California specials". Those parts aren't for a Heuer.

There are plenty of good Camaros available on eBay but remember if the price is too good to be true it probably isn't.

They'll be back sadly-they always are. Someone actually asked my advice on one of these after purchasing-I had to break the news to him. ::facepalm1::

Luckily, he did get his money back after returning it....which was slightly surprising!
