Listed as 'Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph' this thing looks hammer horror watch all over it and with an estimate of £500-£800 someones going to get burned.

Interesting mixture of parts. Lemania military case, dubious dial and hands, Omega 930 movement? Seamaster case back? Worth more than £500 I would say

It seems this kind of thing is positively encouraged by some auction sites

 

There should be a difference between an Ebay listing and an auction house listings. eBay listings are listed by sellers, auction house listing and titles are the onus on the auctioneer and they need to stand over them.

In an ideal world ebay listings should be too but certainly not the case.

 

It's a Lemania movement - clearly marked as such under the balance...

 

True, proberbly the original 1872 movement with a bridge from an Omega movement
