Recently I had a guy contact me via instagram wanting to buy my Alaska, after we chatted for a bit he requested that I send him additional photos including the LE number of my Alaska. At this point, he confirmed the purchase and we agreed upon a wire transfer as the payment method. The next day he claimed to have sent the money via wire transfer from his bank however, after checking with my bank after 24 hours they could not confirm a pending transfer coming into my account. I checked again 48 hours later and still nothing. During this time, this guy demanded I send him that watch regardless of the funds clearing in my account. I obviously told him thats not how I conduct business and he tried to accuse me of doing bad business. NOTE. He also screenshot all my photos of my Alaska including the photo of my LE number, so be very very careful I don't like to say any names publicly but if you are concern you can DM me and I will give you his IG name. BEWARE SELLERS and BUYERS. LOTS of scams out there during the holidays.
My only experience receiving a wire transfer -from Singapore to my credit union in the US- the $ was in my account in less than 12 hours from the time the transfer was initiated.
this guy is in canada and he will use a text free app to text you. his instagram name is in the photo. becarefull. He also have photos and detail photos of my Alaska Project including the LE number which is (1584/1970) beware if he wants to sell you an Alaska Project.
How is the sale going @nima0071 ? The Alaska seems to have really increased in market value these last 2years. Why are you selling yours?
It seems counterproductive that you would make a post telling people to avoid scammer you encountered and then refuse to mention his username publicly. I understand your respect for privacy - but in this case, the warning is not very useful.
12 post in one day about your Alaska project you want to sell.. It is a pretty nice job from a new comer
