    Hi,

I am a watch collector and very new to this forum .Looking to buy a Omega reduced and after doing some research it has made me more confused about a right price for this watch. Is there any resale value of this watch? Please throw some light on this?

I'd recommend going for the Speedmaster Date (ETA 7750 powered) rather than the Speedmaster Reduced due to the movement.

Some collectors would say this is like asking who the tallest midget at the circus is. :p

Any mechanical watch from a decent brand will have some resale value. If you buy your Reduced for under $1200 you shouldn't get hurt too bad if you resell it. If I were in the market for one, I'd be searching for a nice example under $1000.

Save your money and buy a real Speedmaster Professional. In my opinion the reduced is a poor substitute and too small. Even on small wrists, the Professional doesn't wear like a "big watch"!

Plus the arrangement of the subdials on the Reduced is somehow just 'off' compared to the Pro.

Thanks ,Gentlemen. Will heed to your advise. Is $1800 a fair price for Speedy Pro 3750.50 ? Any movement will do.
