    Hello OF,

As a proud owner of a AT GMT, I am looking for another GMT, I've looked at the Ball GMT, the Zellos GMT, and Oris GMT. But, I cant find any of those less than $1,000. Are there any suitable substitutes that you'all can thing of?

    Thank you.

I think Steinhart makes a nice one? If you do a search I remember a similar thread a while back by another member that is a fan of GMT watches.

Glycine/Mido/Certina/Hamilton.. If non-homage is what you want.
If you want a more vintage inspired piece go for the Glycine. 16026003512983927760372369971026.jpg
I own this and I'm very happy with it. Despite being large at 45mm it's thin enough to slide nicely under a cuff.

Yema's next batch of Superman GMTs are launching on Kickstarter on Thursday for about $750. They're bronze cases though so wouldn't work if that's not your thing

Then I fully recommend them - I bought one of the first Superman GMTs last year, and while I didn't quite get on with the unidirectional GMT bezel, I thought the rest of it was so great I bought one of the Superman Heritage 63s, due sometime later this year. Great case on the 39mm (have never tried the 41)

@StudebakerHawk I had this one in the white dial, it's got a lovely heft to it and with the bracelet it's quite dressy, swap out for a well padded leather and it looks great too. Very accurate and reliable ETA 2893-2

There is also black, white, and silver dials without the red and blue 24 hour outer dial.

If you must have another GMT watch, why not get one that can actually track 3 timezones? What I like to call a "proper" GMT watch. If all you need is dual time functionality, then get a three hander with a 24 hour bezel. The Glycine Airman is the no.1 choice for that as it tracks two timezones in 24 hour time. If you can live with tracking two timezones in 12 hour time and providing you have the mental acuity to remember if the non-local time is ahead or behind you, then something like a Magrette Dual Time might fit the bill.

I really don't get how faffing about with a 4th hand is easier than simply adjusting a bezel to get a second timezone. Which is probably why I don't own any 4 hander, two timezone gmts and probably never will ;)

Thank you! The addition of the compass on the outer bezel is a great function add.

Why another GMT watch? Sometimes you just want to change things up but still have the function of GMT.

The obvious choice imho is the Glycine Airman . Can be obtained new for under $1000 with factory warranty. Sizes from 36mm to 46mm . The Airman 18, Base 22 ,DC-4 ,SST 12, and the modern style 42,44,and 46 are all 200m water resistant. Great value .
