For around a third of 15K when new

[(Picture not mine, but of the actual watch) I keep using this picture hoping the owner doesn’t mind but it’s such a great shot!]

I only have one dress watch and it's this one which I was given by my father. I'm not usually a yellow gold person but this looks great with a tux. The stainless steel version is also lovely.

A vintage version
I assume you're referring to your camera as it appears not to have focusing capability.

How strictly do you want to adhere to the "dress" watch definition? Lange Saxonia Thin in honey gold would be my choice. You can go white gold if you want it to be a tiny bit more versatile.

This JLC MUT has been my main dress watch for a while now. I would highly recommend it

I love the recently acquired seamaster 1948 too but the MUT sits so close to the wrist

Under 15k you say?

This is solid 14k (gold) does that qualify?

Eventually I would like to get a GO Sixties with panorama date, retails for just under $15K

Would you mind sharing with me where I can find the nice, simple watch display stands shown on the Omega on your post?
Thank you.

For now, my vintage Seamaster cleans up nicely:
