That's all I know about it. I'll post the pictures I have I haven't dug into it yet, I wanted to finish the 2 omegas I have on my desk, but I'm waiting for parts, so I thought I'd learn about this one. It was an anniversary gift from my gf. Anyone have any facts or details about this brand or specific watch?

Base caliber is an ETA 1281. Nothing much to it and no tricky parts to worry about.

The Benrus Watch Company made components for the Sidewinder A/A missile, can't remember if it was the seeker head or the fuse train.

Did a full refresh on this. Cleaned, Lubed and replaced the missing/broken pieces. Came right to life! I'll post timegrapher results after work today, but I DO have one issue. At certain angles, the balance just stops. Hold it flat, it goes again, tilt it just a bit (down and to the left, I'll post video after work) and it just stops. Oddest thing. I did oil all the jewels with the appropriate oil and ensured that theres no grease and debris on the hairsprint. Under the microscope the hairspring looks good. I still have it all apart if anyone has ideas or wants to see anything specific. Weirdest thing to google as well.

Is top jewel retainer seated properly? I have had that happen and with the same result you have. Broken staff is the next check followed by the top and bottom jewels themselves. Sometimes they have craters worn into them.

Good to know. I'll check all points tonight.
