Hi everyone!

First, a question that's never been settled. What do you call more than one Benrus? Benri? Benrians?

Nevermind, let's get to the watch.....es. Yes, in classic ulackfocus project fashion, why own one when you can own 2 with spare parts? This was meant to be one watch, with a spare for parts PLUS an extra dial.

However, the finished watch never came to fruition, so you can benefit from my lack of follow through. You could even end up with two watches out of this, and sell one to recoup your outlay. Having never been serviced, I don't know how accurate these will be, but I do know the date mechanism works on the stainless watch for sure. That says a lot about the condition, because if you know these watches, you'll know that's one of the first things to freeze up when the watch needs servicing.

Contact via PM here ONLY. Price for the whole shebang (no caboodle included this time) is $550, which includes USPS shipping within the CONUS. Not sure what "lack of caboodle" means. I thought the price was incredibly reasonable for the package - whatever may have been missing.
And I like the point being made too. 👍
It’s all in fun. In a previous FS posting he mentioned it came with “the whole kit and caboodle” (just a saying, referencing a whole package). In this one he joked it did not come with it, so I went with it. No intention of confusing non-native English speakers.

Do we need to keep bumping these posts that are either OHPF or Sold? There are others who are selling and don't appreciate their listing continually being moved down because of this. Asking for my jackass friend.

Sorry for the inconvenience but isn’t this supposed harm very overstated? And why does the friend in question need a proxy to raise the question?

This is just one thread - there are about 8 visible on a cell phone screen and many more for anyone browsing. I’m sure when your friend bumps his or /her own thread this one will have gone into oblivion. And as pointed out above, one very good way for FS posts to be visible is to set the right price. I’m sure most people looking here are true enthusiasts and take the trouble to look carefully for what they like.

I’m not offended at all, I’m just replying. And since I make a point to never comment about anyone’s supposed character or sensibilities, I’d appreciate as a courtesy that others do the same with me.

according to some members who must think I'm independently wealthy, I "underprice" these recent listings "to prove apoint". 🙄 🤨 (no screen names necessary - you know who you are)

I think you underprice things to sell them quickly. Nothing wrong with that in my book. That’s how I’ve sold my cars and motorcycles. I’d rather sell cheap and quick than wait six months and suffer all the bargaining morons trying to lowball me.

But you do also like stirring the pot, another characteristic I seem to share with you.
