Still looking for a picture of these two at Hooters but until then this will have to do for @Mad Dog STS-2 Commander Joe Engle and Pilot Richard Truly the day before launch. As a side note, Engle wears the first radial dial Speedmaster on this mission on a JB Campion bracelet. Most likely Truly does as well but it can't be confirmed. CREDIT - Retro Space Images
...these pictures of @ChuckMK23 and Mad Dog [wearing Speedy Gonzales Moonwatches] at Hooters will have to do.
Sir, I rarely eat DD donuts and don't have a favorite (or go to) DD donut...my yearly allotment is routinely 1 (one) DD donut per year...however, this year I went bonkers and consumed 4 (four) 4th of July LE donuts in a 15 minute period at DD...on the 4th of July. My favorite (and go to) coffee at DD is the XL size with cream...and I usually get anywhere from 4 (four) to 8 (eight) of those at one time.
Thanks for the image @SpeedyPhill. Looking at it I would guess that it is indeed a radial dial as well.
Could someone whisper in Omega SA's ears that, although the radial dial design dated from 1972, next year we'll celebrate " 40 years Alaska III " Speedmaster project. The excellent opportunity for yet another neo-vintage look Speedmaster chronograph with black radial dial to please all Space Shuttle - Space Transportation System aficionados !
