Hi Guys,

It’s been a while since I’ve poked my eyes around here, glad to see many familiar and new names on the forums!

I took a break from collecting and fixing up in an attempt to save up to start getting the pieces I truly wanted. First on my list was a 105.012-65, looks like I made a mistake - I may return what I got it fix it up and you’ll see me again soon! Thanks everyone

Welcome back.

Since you asked, the hands appear to be replacements. The sweep hand is from a later Speedy Pro, but I think that the hour and minute hands are from a different type of Speedmaster. It wouldn't be too hard to find the right hands if you wanted to restore it, and it would be worth it IMO.

edit: Sorry, dial is later also. Are you sure it's a 105.012? That looks like a dial for a cal 861. Not sure how I missed it at first. Maybe I shouldn't post after my evening Scotch.

No AML, step or long marker...a big no, no for that reference.

Where did the picture go?

if it was a service dial I could have dated it.

It could be. It is a flat, painted logo dial with short indices, but for a 321.

@supersimon : Please restore the photos.

It’s considered bad form to delete photos after some of us have given you opinions.

Yeah, I know you're the expert on that. I think the OP is leaning towards returning the watch.
