I bought this as a project 6 months or so ago. It was in quite a poor state and crying out for some TLC with a cracked crystal, scuffed up case and a movement in desperate need of a service. Since then it has been to my watchmaker for a full service, new crystal, light case refinish and he has also cleaned the hands and baton onyx indices. As can be seen the results are excellent, the watch now looks fantastic, is running very sweetly and should continue to do so for the next few years. The cal. 562 with quick set date and a 1961 18 million serial number has just been serviced and in very fine shape as too the ref. 14703 steel case which after a light refinish still exhibits its bevels and chamfers. The crown I think is original and period correct. This dial has some kind of piepaniness to it and although not quite as pronounced as its Constellation cousins it works very well with the onyx baton markers and hands. € 775 plus shipping at cost for this serviced and ready to wear beauty
