I concur with Erich, if you don’t have it I’ll go in line to dibs. Thanks!

Edit - I just found the listing and its out of my price range. But with regards to the watch itself, it's very rare to find one of these in this condition. So I do not think the asking price in unjustified - if you've got the money go for it! 😀

I haven’t seen a 1940’s watch in this fine of a (outside) condition in a very long time.

This is something I have with the same dial style: A first run 600 30mm.

Are there more photos of the case, including the inside?

Wow incredible!

I checked the advert and it looks as good inside as out, 912XXXX. I won't give the link out of courtesy to the OP. But here's the movement and caseback:

It's listed as a 30T2, but I'm sure it could be an earlier iteration? What's everyone's thoughts, whatever it is, it's sure a Beauty! 😀

Stunning! Cut balance wheel, crisp and sharp case. And the spectacular dial as mentioned before. I get a shiver through my spine!

By the way, here’s a very similar dial albeit with Roman numerals and also and also has the pontife hands.

Likewise I own one that is very similar again with pontife hands (ignore tape, I’m waiting on a new crystal).

I should imagine rather than the 2097 case references like the ones above the one you have pictured looks like a CK859, which I have never seen with this dial. So whilst it is beautiful we’ll have to wait for one of the others to chip in as to whether they’ve seen one in this combination! 😀

Ck859 are more conventionally known to look like this with the following dial and hands:

However I have just googled the reference and see some more conventional dials that are not sector dials. So perhaps these were also found in this case reference. Anyone else have any corroborating evidence? 😀

The watch you show (most likely) does not have a cal 30 inside but a cal 26.5, so it is not good to comapre apples with oranges...

That’s correct, and along the lines of the point I was trying to make. I’ve not seen one with a cal 30 😀 but haven’t looked beyond the regular 26.5 model for myself so could have missed others. That’s why I was appealing to others for examples which corroborate with the watch the OP shows 😀
