Beads of rice buckle with no numbering?

Aloha,
Got a 1037 bracelet without end links and figured out the hard way it’s pretty tough finding those pesky things. Ended up finding another bracelet that had 70 endlinks so my search is finally over! My question today is the bracelet that came with the endlinks has no four digit number or a No.12. It looks legit to me but couldn’t find an example with absolutely no numbers. Can anyone confirm it’s ok? Is one more valuable than the other given equal condition which these are not.

thank you as always!!!

Thanks for the quick reply. Is what's in your picture fake? is the finish on the metal a tell tale sign?

There's a thread about this very topic that was posted a couple months ago that might help you:

Your not-numbered one looks OK to me. Here's a great summary in that other thread, emphasis mine:

Unfortunately, I have never seen a definitive guide to these bracelets but I think that the examples that you have shown are all legit. They were made for several decades under license by numerous suppliers around the world to be sold as accessories in jewelry stores. For this reason, there were several iterations of the 5 and 7 row versions. You may have read the numerous threads in OF but in case not, I have pasted a few links below. Desmond's Blog site also has a page dedicated to these. Now that the value has gone up, there are lots of fakes but back in the 60's and 70's they were not that expensive, so it wasn't as much of an issue. With the vintage BOR the only thing that is consistent is the lack of consistency. Some clasps are stamped with No. 12, and some are not. Some have the 4 digit bracelet style number and some don't. Many have the beveled side links but there are some that don't. I have also attached a photo of the Mexican BOR that was on my Seamaster that I used to have.

Thank you MoclovFlop I didn't find that thread of bracelet in my searching over the last few days. I agree with that thread that there are ton of references and it may just come down to a comfort level with it and move on. Hopefully these pictures help being added to the ether around all the questions about BOR bracelets.
