·I can use some help assessing a BOR stainless steel bracelet I recently purchased for a Seamaster Deville watch. I haven’t found good example pictures of bracelets in various conditions to compare with.
Here’s my question: What degree of stretch would you associate with the bracelet picture? I have pulled on it to exaggerate the link gaps. A second picture shows how it wears on the wrist.
OK so here’s another question: If this does appear to be stretch to a moderate or high degree, can these particular BOR bracelets (1503) be reconditioned and if so would it be worth it? I’ve seen reference in the forum to a company in Asia that repairs vintage bracelets.
The bracelet works well as is so I should probably not be too concerned, but still, the questions have arisen in my mind.
Thanks for your insights.
