Now initially the watch looks fine, and there are plenty of real Speedmaster parts in it, someone is probably going to think it looks like a good buy as the price will be quite reasonable. But then you get to the movement photos and see this:

and compare that to how an actual genuine Omega Calibre 861 movement looks:

The difference is massive, you can see the difference in the level of finishing, its not just a matter of the colour of bridges and wheels, everything is made to a cheaper standard in this watch compared to the Omega.

My initial guess was that the movement was merely a Tissot or Lemania that someone had bought a chronograph bridge for a Calibre 1861 for and installed to make it look like an Omega, but comparing the 1861 bridge to this its obvious that the bridge is also very simplified and basic compared to an authentic Omega part. Its clearly not just a franken but an actual fake intended to deceive the buyer.

So when you're buying a Speedmaster, do make sure you get to examine the movement carefully and don't simply assume that because it works its real, a watch like this is a knock-off, and not something you want to get stuck with.

The photo on the top looks as though the serial number is running off the lug - now, I'm no expert...

It's closer in look to the 1861, but different regulator and the chrono bridge was gound down and re-engraved.

The movement looks like a standard Lemania 873 but the bridge is shockingly poor copy.

This is my Tissot 873, the movement is actually super accurate but obviously doesnt have quite the visual appeal of the Omega movement.

The lack of the fine regulator adjustment feature on the balance cock of the fake is very obvious.

Its definitely not ground down and re-engraved, its a stamped part with sharp edges and is missing some of the features of a real one.

Grinding down will take away the bevels and result in the sharp edges, but on closer look it does appear to be a knock off bridge

Already over $500USD... I reported it, but doesn't seem to make a lot of difference sometimes. Notice in his description he's intentionally not claiming it to be real, saying its an 873 and calling a "genuine swiss" movement... He knows what it is and he knows what he's trying to do.

Its a real mix and match of parts. Lemania 873 movement, new dial, old hands, old case, new case back, 808 end links, odd bracelet - hopefully someone doesnt buy it thinking its a genuine Omega Speedmaster

Bracelet looks like a 1175, now you have to add to numbers to find out what the spares are worth ;)
