Hey there,

just for your information. Last week sb sold a, for me, new variation of a fake issued SM 300 dial on a local marketplace here in Germany.

Sure, to be honest, it’s not quite looking genuine at all, but it seems that the „fake scene“ has done its homework and quit producing dials with obvious fake indicators like stubbies or closed 6&9s.

So, keep your eyes open and don’t get fooled.

Some a-holes used to sell those at ETSY, along with other parts. Seamaster 300 case kits, fake straps, boxes etc..:whipped:

Here is the one that is up on yahoo japan. The seller's description translation was funny, "There is a possibility that the dial is old-fashioned, so please check the photo. Please see the photo for the dial spoilage. It's subjective but attractive."

I assume it's a redial and homebrew caseback engraving?
