·As noted I have a soft spot for Baylor watches. My third favorite is a Baylor Heuer, Zales used some decent movements for this brand. The secret seems to be out, so Baylor watches on eBay seem to be respected with multiple bids and quite a bit more that I want to spend on junk.
Surprisingly this was the only Baylor watch in the goodwill search (Not counting a Baylor Bears sport watch.) Goodwill is not really the place to look for watches. Anything decent seems to have multiple bids early. A lot of the prices there are crazy as well.
So what is in this thing. When we pop it open it is evident this was serviced a few times as there are marks inside the case. The case is also a nice Ross case. (Would like to know more about Ross. they also cased Omega watches.) The clasp is marked japan, so is probably a replacement as the band was shortened at some point.
It is a decent coffin movement. I have dozens of the remains of these. Good finish and incabloc which is a plus. not really a project watch still it fits in with others that I have.
I am too lazy to set up a proper photo area so the image quality is not great. The cheap APS film camera lenses I am using on the EOS-M camera, with an adapter, I also got cheap on eBay does not really have good macro focus. I could use one of the old Nikon or sigma lenses, but they are manual focus I resorted using the iPhone for the second photograph.
