Special production issue to the French COS Operational Command & Special Forces

The first WRX was designed by Frank Huyghe in 2007 and designed from the feedback of the WR1. In 2010, the French special forces set off on a mission on the other side of the world with WRXs. Feedback from the operators of the French Navy’s Commando Hubert gave rise to the definitive series, slightly modified and improved.

The key points that brought about the selection of the WRX Hybrid® were:
  • Quartz Cal. up to 12 times more precise than automatic movement.
  • Mechanical automatic winding system.
  • An autonomy of 60 days without a battery.
  • Toughness tried and tested in the heart of battle.
  • Anti-magnetic, so as to not disrupt other underwater instruments.
  • Optimal reading of the dial

Case: Diameter: 47.7 mm without crown.

In 2010 RALF TECH delivered some watches to the Commando Hubert for the development of their current model, 200 pieces on the 15th of September 2011 and another shipment is in progress for 2012. These orders were a deliberate choice, as all watches were purchased, it was not a sponsorship operation. The commercial version of the WRX "A" Hybrid® is technically similar in all respects to the watches delivered to the men of the Commando Hubert with the exception of the emblem on the dial just above 6 o’clock. In this case delivered to the commanding officers of long standing rank within the Special Forces and now at COS Command.
