·As of last week, I'm a new - and very happy - owner of a BB58. Stunning watch - I couldn't be more pleased!
Some owners might have noticed that there seems to be a "phantom" position for the crown when setting the time, that doesn't seem to do anything to advance the hands or anything else. I'm wondering if it's possible that's intentional, and that Tudor has designed the (new) in-house movement of the BB58 to allow for a date function on the next iteration that simply isn't present on the current version....Then "ta da!" Tudor BB58-D, for date!
For what it's worth, I LOVE the fact that the BB58 doesn't have a date window. Nearly every other piece in my collection is vintage, and has day/date/month and/or moonphase display that needs to be set before I can strap it on without my OCD kicking in. The BB58 is gorgeous, and "grab go" with only the time that needs to be set. It will see a lot of time on my wrist as a result!
