Posting this here as I just saw it, and I'm not currently in the market. This seems like a bargain to me, and thought I'd post it here for others to take a look at. Obviously it isn't perfect, but the movement looks pretty clean, the case is sharp, and the bezel other than one ding is is pretty nice shape - WAY better than many I've seen. Comes with a "12" bracelet and 47 endlinks too.

If I bought watches for profit I would by this.

Tropical dial, a few issues to sort out, including a chrono hand, but the bezel and dial really are nice.

The dial, it is true, has plot issues, but for the money this is the nicest "owned" watch that has been on Ebay for some time.

I will post photos when it arrives and would certainly appreciate suggestions. I have a crystal in my parts bin that can be polished up. I also have a flat-bottom sweep hand that could be color matched. This seems like the bare minimum that should be done. I would probably also be tempted to have the small seconds hand touched up and the lume stabilized on the hour and minute hands (or maybe replaced, we'll see how bad the lume is on the hands).

I agree and have really come to have a renewed faith in the kindness of others and “honor among thieves” with this forum.
The two days I debated the SM120 I recently picked up, fielding questions here and getting responses, while the auction was still up and nobody else jumped it-that’s truly honor.
