Welcome to the club.

it’s a mark of honor to be banned for no apparent reason. Then when you ask why, you get perma banned.

it’s a story as old as time.

oops - I've already emailed to ask. Fingers crossed they don't actually check their admin email.

In terms of information, it is hard to digest WUS, when a thread has 5 pages in 15minutes and one has to dig through pages of random opinions to find relevant and qualified posts that are buried underneath. But I would assume that one doesn´t need an active account to read the forum.

There have been some squirrely types over there for a long time. A real menace. Now and then they lose their minds. Don't let it keep you from focusing on what counts.

Wait, this isn’t WUS? You mean I’ve been talking with the pretentious assholes on Omega Forum this entire time 🤦
Well, thank goodness I have you fine people here on The Rolex Forums to keep me from the depravity of those crazy Moon huggers.

Pretentious, moi?

I got banned from an indoor kart track. Asked why and got no answer.

But I was wearing my Sparco fire-proof booties and holding my helmet that had a sticker saying "RAC HELMET APPROVED FOR INTERNATIONAL MOTORSPORT".

Ain't no justice.....

..... I never did no International level stuff.

When I was in college I was at a bar called, Bar, great place. I was at the urinal and a friend asked if I wanted to go to a place called Side Street on the way back home. I told him I couldn’t because I’d been kicked out a week or so earlier and I wanted to steer clear for a while. Another person at the urinals said “holy shit you got kicked out of side street? I’ve seen someone throw a drink in a bartenders face and not get kicked out… amazing”

Anyways… what were we talking about?

There are pretty good threads over there on Excelsior Park and also on Gallet. Not much has been added to them for quite some time.

I'm here a lot more than I am there, but the place has interesting vintage watch threads now and then mixed in with the pocket watch discussions.

If I am ever banned for no reason, I'll be sure not to ask why. 😉

I seem to get shunned for no reason but no forum admin has ever paid enough attention to actually ban me.

Rambunctious "squirrely types" you say? A warning to others not to lack focus? Welcome back, Dennis! 😉

The only watches I have in contemporary women's sizes are WWII era pieces.

I was looking for my first ever watch forum on which to afflict myself and cast an eye at at WUS. Decided to just self ban myself right then there before even joining and joined Omega Forums instead.

I have been a member of that club for a few years now. I told a hot-headed moderator where to stick it and that's that 😁

I had my account deleted after I replied to a for sale post asking if it's ok to PM the seller. Or at least I assume so since I was mostly just a lurker.
