I'm going to go the opposite direction, that's a nice watch! Case is good, crown is original, bezel is excellent, dial and hands are very good and the orange second hand is an uncommon but correct option on those models.

If you're not going for it yourself would you care to PM me where its selling?

I think that watch will clean up just fine.

If you mean "bad" is in "that's one bad ass watch!" then you would be correct. It won't be cheap to fix, but the right connection for parts and a good watchmaker would make that a VERY nice watch.

    Hell, I don't even know that much about Speedmasters but I know that's a sweet mid 60's (1965 - 1967?) caliber 321.

With both pushers missing, I would want to see a shot of the movement before buying...

    It's a 145.012 .
Crown, bezel , dial, hands and case back are correct. Dial is nice.
But the second hands of the chronograph is not correct.Maybe, it comes from a chronostop.
If the chronograph isn't launched, the hour hand of the chronograph is not at his correct place. Like Archer, a pict of the caliber will be better before doing a choice. :)

Those aren't holes for pushers... I think they're vents for cooling!

Or more likely drains to let the water out!

Yeah... you might want to see inside before bidding..... could be scary! Like it might contain a Timex Marlin movement.
(Mmmmmm.... Pin escapement! Captain Archer's favorite I hear)

The auction site refuses to show movement images. I have asked for this one in particular. If someone is in for a gamble, maybe, but be prepared to end up with "spares only"!

I knew some idiot would pass the link.... :) Thats the risk when posting pics on forums........ Its already close to my limit anyway, so never mind :) Good luck folks.

You're right Northernman, a few things regarding this auction site is pretty annoying and among them, the always refuse to share more/better pics. It's also the only auction site I know of, that keep extending the auction ending time (3 minutes I think), as long as bids comes in.

Well, the auction house valued it to around $300, so at least the owner will get a plesant surprise :)

Maybe they saw the inside of it when putting that value on it?

I think in all due respect one should keep such info at ones own discretion. Idiot no, but it was a bit insensitive IMO.

No (I read Swedish, and do not need Google;) ). They do not state (which they normally do if it is the case) that it is working, and the also states that they take no responsibility for functionality.
Someone made a BIG gamble IMO.
Let us hope that someone will share some info here later? Maybe we will be positively surprised?
