I bought a Full set Polerouter Sub Ref 869109/0 - from High Life Watches Brussels https://www.highlifewatches.com/
When I received it, it didn't work and the "original" crown was not the large 6,7 mm screw down, but another smaller "U" labelled version. Seller refuse to pay return freight.

It seems that other parts have been "mixed with"... https://omegaforums.net/threads/universal-geneve-watches-on-ebay.3584/page-267#post-1673014

Two of these images have now been removed yet again as the result of a copyright claim from this watch dealer. The two photos taken by @eskilsani are his own and will not be removed.

Here are the facts:
. I sent you the watch 100 % functionnal, it was just serviced and in a DHL box with a lot of protections (It costed me more than the shipping freights you paid).
. You contacted me saying that the minute hand was not moving as it should.
. After several emails, that we exchanged within 48 hours, we identified the problem: The minute hand has moved a bit from its axis and should be pushed back in place (You told me that, shaking the watch, the minute hand was moving by itself), this probleme can occur if the parcel is brutally handled by the carrier or if the customer let the watch fall.
. I immediately proposed you two options : 1. You get it fixed by your watchmaker (10 minutes job) and I pay all the costs. 2. You send me back the watch and I will support all the return, the repair and the re-shipping costs... You refused saying that 'You lost confidence in the watch'...
. You sent me back the watch and I paid you back 100% of the watch payment and my shipping costs without any disussion.
. Concerning your return costs, wich, bottomline, is why you make such a fuss, It doesn't seems that in this situation I have to support them.
. You blackmailed me, writing that if I don't pay the return costs, you 'will do bad publicity and negative comments on watches forums'.
Finally, after that you sent me back the watch and that I have reimbursed you in full, you wrote me that 'The crown is not original', I answered you that it is original, for your information you can find a link here, the crown is exactly the same: https://thespringbar.com/blogs/guides/universal-geneve-polerouter-sub/

I am not “black mailing” you, I am just giving you the bad review you deserve after not following the basic principles doing business within the EU. https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/shopping/guarantees-returns/index_en.htm

If all that is true and the buyer is pushy do you mind explaining how the watch magically produced provenance between transactions? Did the box come with a time machine and an UG dealer GPS location???

Is guess you won't be having lots of friends with that vocabulary... I sell what I don't use and don't act like a whiney snobby b*tch when selling or when buying. I don't discriminate I wear a 30mm ATP 200eur watch or a Reverso for me it about the journey not about the margins.

You should grow up also...

Hi @10H10, we can all see what eskilsani was trying to do & the forum was accommodating when you complained to the owners.

But there is no need to start picking fights with other members.

The Forum's sales rules do not allow the comments you made on @Aquariusmatic's sales post:
https://omegaforums.net/threads/ple...s-rules-for-all-listings-inc-parts-wtb.54177/

To save you the trouble of checking the rules:

1. In bold at the top of the rules it says:
You can of course openly discuss the item in question publicly , but not in the sales post . Such discussions are to be respectful and non-accusatory. Serious concerns should be directed in reports to staff.

2. Towards the bottom, it clearly says:

What is not tolerated at all!
  • ...
  • Public bashing of someones price. Remember its their item and they can sell it for whatever price they deem fit or they think its worth regardless if you/we agree its worth that.
As you benefited from the rules when you made your own complaint, you know the value of us having these rules and in the moderators making sure members respect them.

thank you
