Baby PloProf - missing bezel insert, what to do?

Greetings,
I'm new to the site, occasional visitor as I have a few Omegas and am a fan of the brand.
This one is nagging me. I have a late 70s BabyPloprof with missing bakelite bezel insert.

It has been in my drawer for years and wants to come out. I would love to wear it with the proper bezel but Omega is of no help.
Anyone in the forum would know where to source an insert or whole bezel+insert?

I would greatly appreciate any ideas or suggestions. It is a shame to keep it like this.
Extreme options would be:
- Sell it as is, but probably no value?
- Adapt some other bezel insert (35mm OD, 29mm ID)?

Thanks very much for your input!

Nice looking watch but I don't think that's what most would consider the baby ploprof. Yours has the integrated bracelet. However I think your idea of adapting an insert would be the best way to go. 👍

This reference is also known as 166.0251

My all time favourite vintage Omega- actually, all time favourite vintage watch full stop. Good luck with the bezel hunt...

Only for the "non-integrated" bracelet model.
They are two different references.

...Damn internet advertising ... I posted a thread relating to "Baby PloProf" and now everywhere I go I am bombarded with HUGGIES advertising! Anyway, thanks guys for great feedback.

JimlnOz, very useful clarification, I was not aware of the distinction between the two reference numbers.
Jaegodylan, you may have provided THE solution to my problem, can't thank you enough. I'll report on cost, lead time etc..

166.0251 is for sure the reference for the integrated bracelet version (the watch I have). 166.0250 is the reference for the 'Baby Proplof' which has a different case shape and mesh bracelet.

I think you are both right.

This link shows a 166.0251, integrated bracelet, with picture of case cover with engraved 166.0251inside.

This other link is directly from Omega's website, page for vintage watches, shows Seamaster ST 366-0858, integrated bracelet.

Not easy to see this page buried on the Omega site but Google finds it.

3d print something cool in titanium and use that

you could ask your kids to paint something with enamel, coat it, and use that

lots of ideas 😀

Edit: Replying to a haunted thread's op, I guess I'm officially old now

There's no such thing as a Omega 266.20251. Maybe you mean 166.250 and 166.251?
