I saw the below vintage seamaster with small seconds on this forum. It just looks incredible.

Anyone happen to know the model and calibre?

Thanks in advance

I'm not totally sure about that dial. But if you want to know more about it, why not PM the owner.

Don’t know, but you can look for any number of small second models with the Omega 30 mm caliber movement

Find out which 30 mm movement are small second and do an eBay search

Hello Andrewgaskin,

The watch is an Omega and specifically a Seamaster CK 2990 that was made in 1958. The caliber is a 267 which is one of the 30mm.

Hello Andrew,

Just to clarify, the 2990 ref is actually an Omega Ranchero. Some were sold with seamaster dials, most did not sell well due to the name.

Many were sent to the Swedish distributor and became what is now known as "transformed Rancheros". The ranchero dials were replaced by seamaster dials with a very distinctive rounded logo.

2990 - small seconds
2996 - center seconds.

If you search for the following keywords you will find a lot has been written about them.

Omega Ranchero
Transformed Ranchero
Seachero
Belgian Ranchero - a model sold in Belgium in 1976
