Went to the St. Petersburg GP over the weekend and managed to take 1 video and ZERO pictures lol.

Bugs me how they can pump out such gaudy (apologies if I'm offending anyone but it really IS gaudy) modern monstrosities while pampering such lovely classics...

And I think it was too excited to take any pictures of the 300 SL gullwing alone 😁

My last name is Maurer. It’s the same W. Maurer as this but not sure why it’s on the car. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurer_Motorsport_(Germany) My best guess is he did the actual painting.
