The yellow car is my present ride, and the red one is the one I should have kept. Challenger.jpg Dart.jpg

Nice Mopars. I've had a few, including the Aussie version of that Dart and a 66 Barracuda. One for drags, one for the track :)

It's Eastern Creek back when the Drags were at the race track.
I actually drove the car from Sydney to Melbourne (and back) in 97' to run at the Nationals at Calder.
I'm more into older Porsche's now, I still love mopars though and only sold the Barracuda last year

Old post but I have to correct this ;)

No such thing as 930 speedster. Original Speedsters were never with Turbo engine. There were 20 or so Turbo-look speedsters done though. http://www.speedsters.com/history.htm Info here.

I do own a 930. Not a bad car and it does possess a lot of character.

Car below is mine - 1986 930 with about 36k km's on the clock. Sonderwünsch model with 7 Z-codes. Unfortunately powerkit wasn't one of those options chosen.

A friend of mine just sold that exact “red one” last year. Right down to the vinyl and the Cragar S/S wheels.

Oh geez. I'm gonna need many mornings with coffee to start this thread from scratch. Was also at the Rolex Daytona 24 a couple weekends ago. Was a blast.

This is a 2006 Lotus Sport Elise. Limited to 50. This one has been further modified with a race engine, bigger injectors, forged valves, exhaust and a super charger - a rocket on wheels.

    Sexy beast. Great color combo!!

While I hate DDing the 930 I’ll never quite forgive myself for not taking the even trade I was offered on a 78 930 for my e46m. The car is currently owned by Magnus...

Lightness of the early cars with the power of the later cars the 78’s are a little special.

At the time 930’s had not gone up as the air cooled cars had started to. Everyone thought it was the service costs and daily drive ability of them would cause them not to go up...

Character is a good way to describe it lol. The stories I have though in 930’s I was testing... thank god i learned to drive hard in pre 73 cars on the track. The 930 in inexperienced hands fully deserves its nickname... The Widowmaker.

Phase 1 of my "Speedmaster" project bike. Got ahold of a pair of the medallions that come with the Moonwatch and glued them on my gas tank. Next project is creating a tachymeter bezel to fit over my instrument gauge. Eli.BMW.SPEEDMASTER.JPG

I was at Daytona. Was it just me, or did you also think those Ecoboosts sounded ugly, despite the win?

I was surprised by the sound of the RSRs. Unreal how loud they were on the downshift. Of cousre the Protoypes sounded like music to my ears.
